Why Choose Us to Assist in Defending Your Case for Aggravated DUI?

We have a lot of expertise in negotiating the minefield of aggravated DUI. We have expert negotiators who have handled thousands of aggravated DUI cases. Our Aurora DUI attorneys are able to dissect the majority of aggravated DUI cases by identifying errors committed by the police during their investigation.

These errors frequently result in the client not having to go to trial and instead benefiting from a lesser charge that carries fewer punishments, such as no jail time, lower fines, no probation, no requirement to install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle, and a quicker restoration of one’s full driving privileges.

Should You Refuse to Take a Breathalyzer Test?

When asked to take a breath test, there is an old saying that advises people to “never blow.” However, Aurora IL has an implied consent legislation that requires the installation of an ignition interlock device for up to 15 months for a first violation if a person refuses to take a breathalyzer or chemical test.

With a few minor exceptions, the penalties for refusing are the same as they would be for a typical DUI conviction.
